@0xdeadbabe yeah, it's quite clear that none of this has any kind of sound technical foundation. I was shocked/not-shocked that each toot isn't at least signed so that identities could be carried around to different instances.

@0xdeadbabe I have a sort of vague idea of running ostatus and XMPP in parallel and preferring talking XMPP to nodes that support it
