In #swiftlang you can do a lot with extensions, but it still bugs me that you can't add a variable to track the state of something without subclassing. It seems like the compiler could create a subclass for you, but that seems kinda ugly too.
It's not a wonder so many software projects grow so out-of-control when you have to add another file just to add a variable to an object.🙄

I guess I have been out of the loop for a while, but I just can’t believe how fast my new Mac mini is. It runs circles around my old one (2009), and my MacBook Pro (2011), and I haven’t even heard the fan yet. Apps open instantaneously, and Xcode now builds my app faster than it can install it to the phone😍. Can’t wait till I can afford to max out the RAM, and add an external GPU!
