@Alisca Ah PEBCAK error, as we call it in the industry :p Yeah it's great. I got a little laptop a few years ago for doing art work on when we used to go to cafes and work (in that strange pre-covid era), and I stripped Windows off and have Linux on it, it's nice :D Now I also use it for writing XD

@Alisca I recomended Linux Mint to a friend as his first linux for laptop, after he had a rotten experience with one of the earlier linux phones. He is well pleased. Linux Mint is my preference for home use as well.
