Videogame things that should exist in real life:
- The place you can go in open world games to completely change your appearance
- Quicksave and quickload
- Respawning
- Always having the option to make a quick buck doing bullshit tasks when you're low on cash
- The quest log
- One-button skill upgrades

— door that heals you 1 hp per frane if you get stuck in it
— ability to use things to fly by holding\jumping on them very quickly
— bunnyhopping
— infinite negative speed
I actually use the analogy of a "save point" in a time loop sci-fi series to explain the nature of the anomaly they're experiencing
like one character says "So it's a save point?"
"No, because this isn't actually a video game. But as an analogy, sort of, I guess."
