What gets me most about the anti Tulsi outrage isn't that she doesn't warrant any criticism, but just how selective it all is. I've been looking through the social media of the candidates on my progressive candidate list and I had to remove one because they had a post talking gushing all over Nancy Pelosi and how she looks "Presidential" because she says orange man bad, while also saying he doesn't support Bernie sanders but isn't closing the door on any candidates except for Tulsi.
It's not just Biden either. You have Mayor Pete who expressed concerns with Chelsea Manning's sentence being cut. Meanwhile Tulsi has stated support pardoning Snowden and Manning.
Enough has already been said about Kamala Harris's record as attorney general. You also have Beto O'Rourke who called for police going door to door to confiscate guns, which Julian Castro pointed out would see a spike in police violence.
You have Marianne Williamson with her anti vax shit, you have John Delaney's borderline fascist "mandatory National service" plan (yes he is still running somehow).
So all that shit is okay, yet they draw the line at Tulsi because they still listen to corporate media that tells them what to think?
Holy shit neoliberalism is a fucking cancer.
@AnnieGal iunno, from what i've seen the latter two were very seriously criticized for the things you mentioned even among "liberals", and neither are really considered to be viable candidates.
@devurandom Neither of them recieved nearly as much shit as Tulsi has though. And I haven't heard anyone criticize John Delaney aside from leftists/Bernie supporters.
