What gets me most about the anti Tulsi outrage isn't that she doesn't warrant any criticism, but just how selective it all is. I've been looking through the social media of the candidates on my progressive candidate list and I had to remove one because they had a post talking gushing all over Nancy Pelosi and how she looks "Presidential" because she says orange man bad, while also saying he doesn't support Bernie sanders but isn't closing the door on any candidates except for Tulsi.
Tulsi has a lot of shady shit, but it's awfully shallow minded to give her shit despite the fact that so many other candidates have abhorrent records.
Enough has been said about Biden with his problems touching young girls, his attempts to invoke his son's death to bash medicare for all, him helping Republicans get elected to congress, him defending segregationists. Say what you want about Tulsi, but the worst parts of her record did not occur during her campaign for office.
You have Marianne Williamson with her anti vax shit, you have John Delaney's borderline fascist "mandatory National service" plan (yes he is still running somehow).
So all that shit is okay, yet they draw the line at Tulsi because they still listen to corporate media that tells them what to think?
Holy shit neoliberalism is a fucking cancer.
@AnnieGal iunno, from what i've seen the latter two were very seriously criticized for the things you mentioned even among "liberals", and neither are really considered to be viable candidates.
@devurandom Neither of them recieved nearly as much shit as Tulsi has though. And I haven't heard anyone criticize John Delaney aside from leftists/Bernie supporters.
