I don't want to spread birdsite stuff here, but it will be hard to recreate this gigantic thread I once wrote on the history of space fiction (a subgenre of science fiction) right from ancient times (around 200 BC) to premodern times (till 19th C), across various cultures. Have a read!

Fully agree with you. This should not become an extended birdsite where our own views may start contradicting after sometime. Let's engage people with different thoughts,ideas, decision-making, history, innovations & of course Indian politics. But, too much of something will be a poison. This is a beautiful platform and let it remain so. There's so much to explore & achieve, and let's do it.
