I don't really play FFXIV that much anymore but as a furry and VIII fan, I feel like hrothgar were made for me and therefore i must have gorgeous art of mine. (Jonah always coming through with that gorgeous art part.)

anyway i just got the zero escape trilogy on steam and i haven't played any of them except the original 999 on DS, so now seems like a good time to dive in.

everything just keeps falling apart, everything shifts into activism mode, The Important Posts, The Justified Outrage, and like, man,

sometimes I just wanna talk about orcs. I just want to exist with my passions on display.

i remember when social media used to be an escape, not where everything happened first.

i'm so tired of sharing the microphone with the culture war.

and as long as i'm handwaving, all GMs should be compensated handsomely, that's important work.

there's really no storytelling medium like ttrpgs. wish i could just wave my hands and give everyone in the world a reliable ttrpg group to be in and experience this specific joy

Being able to focus on one character at a time and let the others join in if they want is such a nice pace-breaker after the whole party does a big event/quest. These often end up being some of the best sessions in the whole game, the way that certain filler episodes of shows end up on the top 10 lists

except my players and I know how to tie things back together in those smaller moments, so it ends up a better story overall.

just had an extremely good dnd session, and it was a "between adventures downtime" session! But I had a bunch of great lore to drop, so it felt more like a series of barely connected scenes in a sort of fantasy thriller.
