Spiderman's suit looks too expensive for Peter to afford, difficult to use on a daily basis, and cumbersome to put on if he isn't wearing it every day. In reality he'd probably buy bulk-printed t-shirts online and keep a spare hoodie + a mask in his backpack.

Doesn't making a video game off of Dungeons and Dragons kind of defeat the purpose of the franchise, since it's a series about limitless potential in the ways you play, and a video game will always have a finite ways to play?

Trying some voice acting as a hobby (for now). The bad news is my natural low/sad poem-reading voice sounds like vocal crytyping. The good news I can do a anime villain laugh on command.

My old retail job was basically run by side characters in every YA novel ever? There was:

-The neurotic bi guy with a stutter.

-A closeted trans woman with a Passion(TM)

-An overly nice football fan who would take every shift you asked him to.

-A kind South-East Asian man with a love of trap music and baseball caps.

-A pop-goth manager, she has a nose-ring and got pregnant twice.

-A temporary worker with a mysterious past involving record tycoons, sex work and the Hells Angels.

The best way to figure out how to advance your story in times of writer's block is to define three things:

1) What are you trying to communicate to your audience with your story (A message, a theme, a mood, etc.)

2) What do your main characters want, as in, what drives them forward as people.

3) How does that drive help you get them to the point and meat of your story.

@AtlaTheWriter *sits down in the middle, notepad in hand and cellphone recording* LISTEN CTHULHU, WHAT ARE YOUR THOUGHTS ON GLOBALISM AND THE WAY IDENTITIES ARE BEING DECENTRALIZED?

ALSO, HAVE YOU EVER MET ANY OTHER GOD IN YOUR REALM, AND WOULD THEY BE WILLING TO GIVE A GUEST LECTURE ON THEIR VIEW OF HUMANS?

Story Idea: A bunch of college students working with a stressful degree start a cult, and summon demons just to get extensions to the due dates on their homework.

"Now, to tell you why the Sun and vitamin D aren't the healthiest, please welcome my very special guest, Dr. Aluc Ard!"

Idea: Youtube cooking show starring a soccer mom that is very clearly a vampire. She spends half of the episodes giving bogus reasons why garlic and silver spoons are horrible for your health.

Getting the midnight munchies is the weirdest, because suddenly you have an amazing idea for a recipe, half the ingredients, and a quarter of the concentration needed to not burn your hand on the stove.

For those who don't know me, I:

Edit Carpet Merchant of Konstantiniyya for @reimenayee and the Tapastic comic Camellia.

Write both for the ongoing webcomic Arabian Nights: Through the Sands on the Kingdoms, and work as a contributing writer to anthology comics like We're Still Here, and for journalism websites like Women Write About Comics.

I'll be writing silly stuff here, and helping fledgling creators understand comics better.

Have fun~ ^^

For now, Toots here will be copies of tweets on my Twitter social media. I want to set up shop here, just in case Twitter tanks. ^^

Starting an account here, just to get a feel for it. ^^
