After a day of working from home, I’m annoyed I have to work and I’d rather just be at home

This is a good time to prepare yourself for November. Once we can get past the shock of losing as badly as we’re going to lose, we can focus on staying alive

Hey guys, what are you doing to treat the background radiation of despair in your life? Currently, my treatment is staring into the middle distance, but I’ve also considered According to Jim fan fiction.

Anyways here’s my good trash panda child attempting to adult and I love her

I’ve been saying a good year to live too is 80. That’s 2063 for me. I’m tired of not knowing if we’ll have a world in 2063.

I’m tired of wondering how ugly things will get. I’m tired of thinking about if I should buy a gun or not.

I’m so tired of a Democratic Party that can’t see the forest for the trees, that can’t think beyond the comfort of their own positions.

I’m so tired of being terrified of the future.

Elder health -

Talking to my dad today, I asked him how grandma was. She's in the nursing home section of her residential living. They way my dad said she's ...okay is making me worried. I really do think this is it, we're in the end now. Granted, she's 101 years old. And maybe she's tired of it. It's longer than any of us thought she'd live, including her.

Honestly, I'm unexpectedly emotional about this. I thought it'd be easier, because I've been expecting this for 25 years...

I don’t want to get there. I don’t want to be trapped in a body like that. Honestly, if I get to 80, well done me. Everything after that is just a high score, and good for you.

Also who fucking knows where the earth will be in the 2060s

mh(?)- talk of mortality

Ironically, she was living her best life from like 82 to 97. Her husband died like 25 years ago and she really thrived without him. But life is catching up. I don’t know how long she has to be honest. Last weekend she was all turned around and confused where she was, but she’s been sick so who even knows.

mh(?)- talk of mortality

Been spending time with my 101 year old grandma lately so of course I’ve been thinking about death and dying.

Grandma is cool. She’s still here mentally, but she can barely see and her hearing is shot, and she’s finally getting to the point where getting around with the walker is probably behind her. Longevity, it seems like, is a curse for her.

So I read IDW Sonic 24 last night and I'm shook. One of the big name characters got GOT, and I'm proud at how brave the team is for doing it. The stakes are high, and somethings going to give.

I have a feeling that the big bad is going to turn this around -- he's tired of Eggman's shit and Eggman's recklessness got them into a practically unwinnable place.

Twists!

I can't wait to read more. I truly love the Archie/SatAM cast -- that series was FORMATIVE to me -- but the IDW stuff is doing really well and I'm really glad it is. It's charming and the people involved clearly care.

Anyway, this has been a 36 year old adult talking about the new Sonic comics.
