Worries and Trans Stuff
Last night my mom tripped and fell.
She's okay; she just missed a step coming in from the attached garage. But when I heard the thump from upstairs I went up the stairs, worried. And she's okay now, but I still worry, because she doesn't know.
And she's not getting younger.
and if the worst happens, and she leaves this world without me having told her, I have no idea how I'll ever forgive myself.
SORRY TO BOTHER YOU
One thing I think I appreciate the most about the movie is that it never fully condemns Cass for making a smart-for-him decision to become a Power Caller with his magical white voice, but never fully lets him off the hook either. It's a nice illustration of the fact that worker solidarity is hard, even though it is ultimately necessary.
So... again, I'm stuck with only pennies to live on for the next week after bills are paid. If you can throw a few dollars my way, even a couple, it would help me immeasurably; if not, please boost.
