@Codhisattva turns out buried in the list of dependencies there was a reference to a forbidden API. Seems like the simulator didn’t care all the time, but once it did it didn’t forget.

I’m writing a today extension for iOS 11 and suddenly I only get “Unable to load” in the simulator. No console messages at. I roll back a few nominal changes to the last good launch and same message. Find a sample app/extension project on github, same message. What the widget is goin on here?
