@bekopharm I downloaded the zip file and checked. The string is from a header file which defines test fixtures:
wifisdfw_gpl/Linux_KA_2_6/crypto/testmgr.h
So at least it means they potentially have some crypto and tests in there. :)

@CyReVolt this is extraordinary. How come that words entered the firmware source code?

But more importantly, this is an excellent example a hardware company gives the source code (as free software) of their wifi device firmware (not only driver) to public users. I hope Broadcom to do the same. Thanks Transcend! Thanks @CyReVolt, you opened me a new enlightenment.
