Fuck it man, idk. Just put on some Grateful Dead. Put on some Aretha. Print some kind of zine. Paint a sign. Start a band. Write a manifesto. Bootleg a t-shirt. Hand out stickers. Throw a party. Keep it weird.

This is probably the best anthology of apartheid era Freedom Songs which includes many original recordings from the time:

@ErickaSimone @Daojoan I would love a txt also, pls. Can pop that right into Pandora.

@Daojoan

For most music you can also use yt-dlp and extract the audio. If you feel guilty for pirating you can support the artists by listening to and talking about their music, if you like it, and buying digital albums from them directly if that money is really burning a hole in your pocket lol

@ErickaSimone

@ErickaSimone @Daojoan dang its like my old highschool and college playlist, lotta good stuff there

@caitp @Daojoan I’m gonna pull that high quality if we all gotta face fascism fulltime.

@mastodonmigration @Daojoan all freedom fighter music welcomed here.

@Daojoan

Feel like we will know we are saved once the music of this generation catches up to this shit storm.
