It's incredible the mental difference format makes. Notes in a bunch of text files feel like screwing around with a toy, as a hobby. A Google Doc feels professional, like "holy shit, this is REAL now."

Y'know, of all the projects I want to do, the one that I keep coming back to, that I feel inexplicably drawn towards, is this tabletop RPG. It's completely self-indulgent, and yet I just keep coming back to it when nothing else grabs me like that...

Work: "Hey, you write a lot, right?"
Me: <mentally going through corpus: queer shit, extremely anticapitalist cyberpunk shit, and lots of smut> "Yyyyyyes?"
Work: "Great! We need a story for the themed Christmas party."
Me: "...I don't think that's gonna work out."

Also I want to figure out the DPCM channel on the GBC so I can make it play the "GO!" sample from Sonic 3's soundtrack. But that comes after the move.

SO since I missed Strawberry Jam earlier this year due to existential crises and mental health, I'm thinking about catching up and putting pen to paper on a thirsty-ass game concept I came up with.

I can't draw. But I can write. Oh, can I write...

I'm toying with something in Pico-8 but I'm not sure if it's the right fit. I'm also very, very tired.

All work keeps talking about is velocity and money and it's shit like this that is making me understand VERY sharply why there's such a groundswell of anticap sentiment lately.

I'm too tired to have an opinion, though.
