Nevermind, I found them
So it turns out LGBT tartans are a thing and most of the ones I've found look kinda boring but I do like the look of this married couple's personal tartan:
the tragedy of identity, cute queer shitpost
*considers how identity is doomed to eternally fracture itself as worldviews conductive to partial/mixed identity are not politically expedient, and those with complex identity will inevitably be attacked by fallacious No True Scotsman and Yes True Scotsman arguments alike before being splintered off into a new label, dooming themselves to repeat this at a smaller scale*
*reaches an exciting epiphany!*
"Oh dang I hope pride flag tartans are a thing!"
@heyheather Zoey I demand that Acorn City gets popular enough that you start selling merch of it and I buy an enamel pin of the character your heart and the universe told you to name after me and I decided to retroactively name myself after
"don't you love this experience? sign up now!"
well so far the only experience has been you intentionally making things frustrating, so yes i would love to give you my information
Marketing director of nintendo: Look, we love if there's an obvious joke to be made about the title of something. It gets people talking - look at how many folks made Wii jokes.
Marketing assistant: further, the last New Super Mario Brothers game taught us the marketability of a horny powerup.
Marketing director: Yes. However, we want the audience to be the ones making the jokes and discussing it.
Bowser's Furry DLC Dev: What's your point

i think an ideal society lets people establish their preferred amount of distance to it, ie some people are just going to prefer the mental and emotional environments of solitude or living in small groups. that's fine and good. what that *doesn't* mean though is acting as if what you do, off on your own, has no effect on those around you and elsewhere, and that you need not concern yourselves with anything outside your bubble. "no one is free alone."
I still haven't actually sat down and followed a bunch of people yet... I'm an aspiring reverse engineer and extremely nervous trans lady.
