@Downes@mastodon.social@dajbelshaw I don't think we should use the term 'value' outside economic contexts. The idea of me having a 'value' always reduced to economic terms (though the medium may not be money). A person is an end in themselves, and not (as the term 'value' *always* entails) a means to some end.
