18 Days, 1000 pikmin sprouted, 501 pikmin lost in battle.

Lost over 100 pikmin to Bulbax, worse than my first attempt over a decade ago :S

Pikmin 3 has an entirely different set of controls (no C Stick, so dodge roll instead of march)
It's puzzle final boss has an annoying section before it that's definitely not great for it's own reasons.
Definitely the journey rather than the end is the good part of this series

Started Pikmin 2 almost immediately- whose final boss doesn't have a health bar until it's helpless, so I guess it's a recurring issue :/

Finished my replay of Pikmin 1 today, dang that final boss isn't great-

Going by previous comments it sounds like the metal touching parts (IE rendering engine) were redone (going from PPC to x86, so it makes sense), but art was redone and retouched when it was needed

But your actions have to damn match it for anyone else to care.

Probably going to use some tilemaps to define some UI and for levels I'm aiming to swap out sprites for textured cubes- but keeping the info from the tilemap format to define useful bounding boxes/triggers

At least until I have a way to do that in engine, I guess.
