@_maleficentgirl @Catlynn Yes, actually -exactly that. And Joey is used to the squirrels. Sheena would definitely hunt them to extinction, but if Joey got out, I'm pretty sure he would just hang out with them. Both cats run to the window when I throw nuts out for the squirrels because they know they will be coming.
@EricIndiana @_maleficentgirl My yard cat seems to understand its a no-no to try to eat the friends and mostly ignores them, though they sometimes give him a real earful 
@Catlynn @_maleficentgirl We are staying at my mother's house temporarily, and there is a family of squirrels living in the wall which make a wide variety of noises. My cats are interested, but they've grown used to their invisible housemates.
@EricIndiana @_maleficentgirl oh my gosh, I know exactly what you’re talking about. We had a critter in the wall for a couple days. I’m not sure what it was and I don’t know where they got in but I was happy when they left, it was riling up the cats
