Possibly the stupidest thing I've heard today is that "war unites us". Like we were so goddamn unanimous about Iraq, Afganistan, current actions in Pakistan+Yemen+Syria, involvement in the Libyan civil war, and before those involvement in the Somali Civil War, the Gulf War, Clinton's bombing of Libya, Grenada, Vietnam, Bay of Pigs, Korean war... Like a romanticized version of WWII is the only thing they are willing to consider as an example of how war can go.
