My daughter has recently requested that I teach her to program, so I’ve picked Unity and C# (something I’ve had to pick up for this). She’s now starting to get curious about what I actually do for work and has indicated she’d like to learn a bit of hacking.
Curiosity is wonderful, and I’m super happy I get to feed it. I recon she could deliver a DefCon talk in a couple of years if she carries on, probably before her old man.

Trying to reduce the power utilization of this circuit, and i finally tried the one thing that made the most difference:
Running the whole thing at a lower voltage.
I mean, yea, you can turn off all kinds of shit in the microprocessor, and code in deep sleeps and all that, but running at a lower voltage, man, that's the good shit.

This cat isn't wired right. He's been terrified of everything and everyone since he was a kitten. When he's happy, he actually raises the fur on his back and tail in what is usually the fear response. We've started calling this his "happy fur".
It's taken 5 years, but he's finally decided myself and Mrs. Fish are OK to relax around.
His brother on the other hand DGAF and will ninja the ham from your sandwich while you're making it.
