@gargron this is great. Looking forward to seeing how people spin this as a bad thing

@Jewbacchus Currently waiting for even one person to make use of it!

@gargron someone who isn't you should go poke people they know have contributed, but also someone who isn't me bc I have not been involved in or know anything about the contribution history. As a standing gesture it's still great.

@Gargron cool, i ever wanted to be paid for sacrificing my free time and desperately submitting translations

@Gargron Is that annual budget how much people donate yearly or operating costs? If it is the later is there a breakdown of those costs somewhere. It seems awfully high but it may include costs to things I hadnt thought of.

@freemo The annual budget is the pool of money donated to OpenCollective

@Gargron Ahh nice. I'm sure you'll do great things with it. good luck.

@Gargron What’s awesome about this isn’t just that it means people who could afford to contribute in the past can be compensated if they want to be but that people who couldn’t afford to contribute previously due to their financial situation might get to do so while also keeping food on their tables and paying the rent.

Very cool.

@Gargron wow 70k from Samsung Next. Congrats on that donation!
