Mastodon is now on the translation platform Crowdin. So far it seems like a much better interface for translating

You can help by either submitting translations or proofreading existing ones!

@Gargron Did you copy the translation files from Mastodon's Github repo or from the old Weblate location?

Cause 82% for Dutch looks a bit to low AFAIK.

Also the file names are like en.yml, en.json, etc. instead of nl.yml, etc.

@jeroenpraat From GitHub. Weblate has been locked for a long while. Also the names it shows are the source files

@Gargron Could you add Malayalam (south Indian language, different from Malay) to the list of languages? Thanks!

@Gargron Thank you :)
You can add joinmastodon as well to be translated.

@Gargron ...I prefer been on weblate :blobthinkingcool:

I don't know if this crowdin is better for developers, so I hope it works better for you and for mastodon management 👍

i've used to translate stuff before, i can at least say it works pretty well for translators :)

@Gargron did you guys considered #weblate as a platform for translations?
