Heads up: If you run your Mastodon server from what was previously known as the "master" branch you'll need to switch to the "main" branch

I still disagree the necessity of the change but whatever- thanks for the heads-up

@Gargron I did this for my projects late last year. It seems like a worthless gesture, but it's easy to do.

@hakui Is “git checkout main” so much harder than say, “bundle install” you have to do periodically anyway? Especially considering that most people only need to checkout stable versions anyway

@Gargron somewhere out there a highly specialized automated pipeline broke because they can no longer find the master branch

@hakui Well, it’s still there, it just hasn’t been updated since the switch. Maybe I’ll keep it up to date manually for backwards compatibility
