@Gargron Why is the API limit on getting an account's statuses so low? Do I really have to repeat the API call with different "since" IDs, to get more?

@lx you can specify a higher limit but there is a boundary where it becomes too long to generate a response for you so yes you are supposed to page through it

@Gargron Btw. Why does every status API call return my full profile data (including profile text, follower counts, etc.)? This seems like quite a waste of resources.

@lx because in case of web UI basically every status request requires an account along with it, so it wasn't worth it to me to implement an option to exclude it from the response

@Gargron I can understand, but why would every status have that same info again? Wouldn't it make more sense to have the account info at the beginning of the response once and not repeated for every status?
