🤔 I always attributed more software engineers beign men as a greater tendency towards a spectrum of autism in men that lends itself to extreme levels of focus. Its common for really good software engineers to be a bit "odd". I read somewhere that autism in men is far more common. In my family out of all my 10 siblings, 2 of my male siblings are autistic and who knows if I may have some spectrum of autism myself.
