@zigg I don't understand alts. Like, I have one on mastodon.social and I don't use it. I signed that one up just in case, but I'm not sure in case of what.
@Mainebot I didn't have one until m.s had the major outage yesterday. I don't think I'll ever really *maintain* two accounts, but it keeps me connected if there's an outage for whatever reason.
I wonder if m.s is experiencing scaling pains. If so, it's probably better for m.s for me to leave.
@zigg I'm not sure what the deal was, but I know that @gargron did magic and moved over to a new host, if memory serves. The same one that @CobaltVelvet is using for this instance, IIRC.
@Mainebot @zigg @CobaltVelvet That outage was because of me being away + not an expert devops. Now that Alice is the devops, everything should be fine.
