Interesting article. I'm still a huge fan of Valve and Steam, but it is accurate that they have a near-monopoly on PC gaming. That can cause problems.
@samurailink3 interesting article. What are other peoples opinion on this? Does what the author say have much evidence behind it?
@drh The general consensus is that Valve hasn't done anything too bad recently, but competition is good and monopolies are bad. I do wish Steam had viable competition (not owned by a publisher).
