I don't know how to make this graph not completely unreadable so this is all you get from me, just wanted to test if the data works, it kinda does.

@Gargron Sorry, I meant the INFO, the other toot :) the one with the call to action :)

@gargron probably the only way to include all the instance names in a graph this size is to either render at absurd resolution and/or vectorized, or do something interactive/zoomable

@Gargron 3D version? Might be more manageable in VR. (And more cyberpunk.)

@Gargron seconding a desire to see an interactive version! Thx for everything!

@Gargron It may not be greatly useful from a data visualization perspective, but it gives a broadly generalized impression of how folks are interconnected and that's kind of nifty.

@Gargron Would love to see an interactive version of this that I can fly about and see how things relate.

@lordbowlich @Gargron

this'd probably be the solution, yeah -- a level of detail enabled diagram

(but it'd be a fuckload of work, and I'm not suggesting it's something anybody should feel obligated to get into doing -- just noting that I think this idea would work)

@Gargron This looks like abstract art and would look great printed huge and hung on the wall of the Mastodon Offices

@Gargron I would like to send a big toot-lab shoutout to the rest of the purple pouet party participants, can you forward this for me

@Gargron i'll try to do a high-res render on my 24-core Xeon desktop tonight

@Efi @Gargron

it's basically a matter of time before someone makes a scaled down version with a 👉 in front of the lower left corner

@Jelv @Gargron oh my, I'm not sure there is a grafana plugin available for that :D

@eliotberriot @Gargron the top 100 could be exported and with d3.js you can make things like bl.ocks.org/mbostock/7607535 and bl.ocks.org/mbostock/4063269. Maybe I have to learn some dev skills ^^
