Tweeted this, but it didn't go anywhere it seems: @Downes @lauraritchie @dogtrax Stephen, thanks for today's session on , a great reminder that we must be intentional to reach out to, bring in, support those who need it most, those without agency, opportunity and voice. I feel an affinity to this spirit with what Young Writers Project has done at ... the teens mostly those who feel isolated, unliked, outside. Not surprisingly, they develop strong voice.

@GeoffreyGevalt @Downes @lauraritchie Great points, Geoff, and highlights the role of the teacher, in particular -- not just classroom teacher but teacher in all sense of the word -- intentional invitations ... like those young writers you nurtured along the way ... (I have not yet watched the video .. still taking in Amy Burvall video)

@dogtrax @Downes @lauraritchie @amyburvall thanks so much for the response. AND, is this year's class equipped to use the YWP private digital classroom? Give me an excuse to work with you... And AMY! I did not know she was one of the chats. Will take a look see... Peace to you.

@GeoffreyGevalt It's nice to know you've been following :)

and yes and more yes. The reaching out is most important, but often the hardest - as often one doesn't know (until much later or sometimes ever) of the impact. -but it is all about connection.

I see a filament and the spark that joins it. It's all about connection.
