Tweeted this, but it didn't go anywhere it seems: @Downes @lauraritchie @dogtrax Stephen, thanks for today's session on , a great reminder that we must be intentional to reach out to, bring in, support those who need it most, those without agency, opportunity and voice. I feel an affinity to this spirit with what Young Writers Project has done at youngwritersproject.org ... the teens mostly those who feel isolated, unliked, outside. Not surprisingly, they develop strong voice.

@GeoffreyGevalt @Downes @lauraritchie Great points, Geoff, and highlights the role of the teacher, in particular -- not just classroom teacher but teacher in all sense of the word -- intentional invitations ... like those young writers you nurtured along the way ... (I have not yet watched the video .. still taking in Amy Burvall video)

@dogtrax @Downes @lauraritchie @amyburvall thanks so much for the response. AND, is this year's class equipped to use the YWP private digital classroom? Give me an excuse to work with you... And AMY! I did not know she was one of the chats. Will take a look see... Peace to you.

@GeoffreyGevalt It's nice to know you've been following :)

and yes and more yes. The reaching out is most important, but often the hardest - as often one doesn't know (until much later or sometimes ever) of the impact. -but it is all about connection.

I see a filament and the spark that joins it. It's all about connection.
