Trying something.
@ me with a premise/feeling/idea/photo - something brief. I will attempt to write a short story based on it. (I will pick one.)
@GinnyMcQueen wow, thanks for choosing my prompt!
@GinnyMcQueen as horse_ebooks says, "unfortunately, as you already know, people"
@GinnyMcQueen Posted this to Instagram this morning with the caption "#nastyaf"
(I might pick more than one.)
@GinnyMcQueen There's this museum, right? And it's basement, where they keep the archives that aren't currently on display, is unbound by space. Like L-Space from discworld, I guess? Just infinite. And it's full of weird shit. A Portrait of Steve Jobs by Leonardo DaVinci, that kind of thing. And the city is trying to cut their funding.
@GinnyMcQueen the singularity, but it gets ruined when the devs building it fail to account for diversity and it gets racist/ sexist in there
@GinnyMcQueen I took that one night.

I hope if you choose this you'll do me the favor of sharing a photo with me for the same purpose. Care to set a word limit?
@GinnyMcQueen uncomfortable largess
@GinnyMcQueen The California drought ends. Speculative fiction is fun, right?
@GinnyMcQueen a picture i took in Lahaina, Hawaii a few years ago (you'd have to figure out for yourself what feeling it gives!)
@GinnyMcQueen one of my favorite quotes. "The future is already here. It's just not very evenly distributed." - William Gibson
@GinnyMcQueen Two people sit at a cafΓ© table. First asks the second a question. The Second takes a sip of their coffee before answering...
And the entire story itself takes place just within that moment, when they take a sip of their coffee. All their thoughts, the possibilities they imagine, the plans they make and discard in that instant.
@GinnyMcQueen I'm always trying to finish "one more thing" so I end up running late to meet friends and family. It's a bad habit and I'm trying to overcome it.
