My friend, a lawyer, was telling me how she is sometimes called out for talking "too fast" by men.
I also am someone who can talk (and type) at a hypersonic speed.
I realized this comes from being constantly interrupted/shouted over. Both my friend and I are 5'1"/5'2" women.
We've spent our whole lives trying to school shitbags before they gave a chance to yell.
I also grew up with a father who yelled all the time. He shouted down my mother at every turn.
While she cowered, I got louder. And I learned how to argue at a very fast pace.

@machichnicht Because they were stealing? That's pretty self-explanatory, I feel.
@ginnymcqueen Just so long as you aren't double keyboarding it.
@GinnyMcQueen Alas, dumbness is infinitely fast on the internet. :/
@GinnyMcQueen Just wanna say...
Long before #mastolife I had no idea just how many beautiful people are out there fighting the good fight, all while #thestruggleisreal and with that being said,
I sincerely appreciate you.
Especially your courage.
So thanks โค๏ธ

@GinnyMcQueen I can so relate to this. Do you try to lower your voice as well? I watched a heated discussion between a man and a woman once. At the moment her voice started rising, he made a comment on her getting hysterical. Weird, because his voice had been steadily rising before that, so i actually thought she put a lot more effort into not letting emotions get in the way than he did. She couldn't win. Only chance was to overbid him.
@Leonore5506 My voice is damaged from speaking lower for so many years. I naturally have a much higher voice.
@GinnyMcQueen Wow. I'm also a 5'2" women who talks and types fast, seen as intimidating by guys for the most part.
I also type like hacker in a 90's film when I'm explaining shit online. It's like I have to get out my answer before someone says something even dumber.
