Having a great time in the ER. I am so blessed to be, yet again, not getting the treatment I need and am teetering on death and hearing about all the medications and treatment I can't have.

@GinnyMcQueen
I can totally empathize with how anxiety amps up specific conditions like asthma and vertigo .. yay me I have both but luckily not badly but if I start having a anxiety attack during either the outcome is usually negative
@Zaphodbblx I had to sit through hours of paramedics, nurses, doctors, all telling me "You just need to breathe slower. You need to calm down." AFTER they knew I have anxiety and panic disorder and could clearly see what was happening if they knew anything about... you know... medical shit.
@GinnyMcQueen I totally get ya' . my panic attacks stack. so I'll start off with mild unease and my cabasa will find things to stack on top of that unease till I'm literally pacing the floor so I won't scream or burst into tears (not super manly)
my vertigo is (from what I've been told by Drs and such) really mild and I can still usually even drive unless that is I start "panic stacking". I've found CBD to be very helpful for anxiety.
@Zaphodbblx Same! CBDis great, but still expensive. Everything costs enough to be a problem for me.
@GinnyMcQueen yep. I honestly don't know if I'll be able to continue a daily regime. we're talking nearly 800 bucks a year out of pocket. it's sad this is the best my anxiety has been on 20 years. it's not gone but it doesn't consume my brain anymore
@Zaphodbblx My asthma costs me over $200 a month, and my anxiety/PTSD is around $250 a month. That's just emergency/take when needed mediation. I can't afford preventative or specialists to deal with it.
I also have a bunch of other issues that need tens of thousands in surgery.

@GinnyMcQueen I'm sorry to hear that. I'll keep hopeful thoughts for you.
Do I want to recount yet another scary, dehumanizing interaction with the LAPD fire and medical departments?
I don't, but also I should talk more about how people are treated here when they are sick.
@GinnyMcQueen I know you're hurting, but could you turn this into a blog series or YouTube video? I'd sponsor it, even.
People need a more concise, balanced view on what it's like to be treated the way you were/are being treated right now
@moritzheiber I'd really like to interview to some medical people and get multiple perspectives on it. But I also feel like America is so fucked that just one more story of how we are fucked will just get lost in the noise? ๐
@GinnyMcQueen that is, unfortunately, very true ๐ To is Europeans it's just so outrageously bizarre.. I guess that's where that impulse was coming from
@moritzheiber I live in a dumpster fire. And I'm in one of the "good" states!
I slept for a whole 5 hours. The cats let me sleep in. I can't believe I'm have to tell you about the fire department assholes again. Here is the last time it happened: https://youtu.be/f5XTrGsRA7Q
