What is the first concert you ever went to?
Mine was Dolly Parton when I was 7 years old.
Shortly after I saw the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles : Coming Out Of Their Shells live show.
@sanspoint Weird Al is the nicest dude.
@GinnyMcQueen I've yet to meet himโnot really up to dealing with the post-concert mobโbut that's what I've heard. One day!
@sanspoint I weaseled my way into an audition for one of his videos. (I am not a dancer! LOL!) He's a sweetheart.
@GinnyMcQueen Bon Jovi, Age 18.
@GinnyMcQueen Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles LIVE??
Oh, and I think my first "major" concert was maybe Fugazi in NY ๐ค
@GinnyMcQueen Oh geez, I can't remember concert-wise, it was probably super late because I grew up in a small town, but I do remember seeing a stage version of Anne of Green Gables at 8 or 9 and being excited as hell.
@GinnyMcQueen okay I'm jealous now. I want to see Dolly too :) Mine was Guido Belcanto a Belgian troubadour. I was 11yo.
@GinnyMcQueen King Crimson. London, England.
@GinnyMcQueen Metallica, on the tour where the opening act was a documentary about themselves.

@GinnyMcQueen Prince when I was about 12. It was the Lovesexy tour, he had a bed on stage and had air sex on it. Mind blown. I was with my parents.

@GinnyMcQueen I saw that same TMNT thing but I don't count it as my first concert. For me, it was Weird Al on the Running with Scissors tour. Almost spoiled me for future concerts!
