We just boosted an article from the Washington Post about Rep. Greene (R-GA14) introducing some silly amendments to the Ukraine funding bill including one that would create funding for space lasers for some unspecified (though presumably murderous bc what else would they be for) use at the US-Mexico border. While we are in agreement with @pbump’s analysis, it appears Rep. Greene chickened out overnight because the current list doesn’t include the space lasers. https://rules.house.gov/bill/118/hr-8035
