At LGF we have a comment system that updates dynamically as comments are added, and I needed a way to let users embed Mastodon posts in their comments and have the iframe heights dynamically adjusted to fit the content. The original Mastodon embed.js script does this at document.onload, but not dynamically. So I wrote a new one, loosely based on the original.
