In a way I understand what the Bluesky team is going through. I’m no insider but it looks like they’re basically a team of people who were tasked with implementing the AT protocol, and they don’t have anything like the resources they actually need to prevent the onslaught of really bad people just itching to fuck it up.

So it’s not entirely their fault, but the protocol should have been designed from the start with these issues of far right fascism FRONT OF MIND.
