What SHOULD have happened after the original Roe v. Wade decision in 1973?

Increasing liberalization of abortion laws! Roe actually maintained the government’s “right” to intervene depending on stage of the pregnancy. Today we should be at the point where the only ones making these decisions are the human beings involved, regulated only to ensure safety.

Instead we’re regressing rapidly, thanks to America’s viciously misogynist Christian nationalism, aka the GOP.
