Wow, it's been a while Mastodon. Is there anybody I know still here ?

Tomorrow it's December... Time to prepare ! I have to drink some Christmas tea to be in the right mood ☃️🍵

I feel bad about using Mastodon for self-adverstising though... So let me introduce you to games that I love and other people made :
Royals by Asher Vollmer (free) :
Lost Constellation by Alec Holowka and Scott Benson (free) :
ᗢ by Takorii and Sentvyr (free) :
Push Me Pull You by House House (15 $ and totally worth then) :

Hello ! I'm HeskHwis and I make small games ! Recently I've made The closet and the castle for the Game Jam :
And my favourite game is My First Kishoutenketsu, a game I've made in May :
And I'm currently trying to make a versus game with umbrellas and water cans !

(please click on the picture, it's a GIF but the preview is badly framed)

Also the black sky gives me a strange NES vibe... I'll change that later but for now I find it pretty funny :D

Game making from yesterday. Now the little guy can walk left and right, but I still have difficulties with the jumping part... Let's try to fix that today !

This is the beginning of my new small game with umbrellas and watering cans ! I'm trying to learn PICO-8 and I'm prototyping this thing as a way to discover the software. Try to guess what the gameplay will be !

I'm about to prototype a game with umbrellas and watering cans ! It should be a little like Balloon Fight.

Well, I'm HeskHwis ! I'm an aspiring game maker, actually in last year in fine art school... I want to make games that tell nice stories and make people comfortable ; maybe they would even smile ? Man, that would be awesome.
You can find my games here on itch :
And I have a drawing/gamedev/random stuff blog just here :
I don't know if I'll be very active here, but I'll do my best !

I guess this is the proto-monster? I originally intended to add more detail, but this was "good enough"
