Friends, can we agree to not use block / ban interchangeably for silence in regards to #Mastodon moderation?

I have this feeling it causes a lot of unnecessary confusion for a lot of users.

As one is sever all ties, and one is "we just don't want to see this stuff in the public timeline, but friends can still be friends"
