@eylul i had never heard of dark table before I saw your posts. How do you like it ?
@billynewman @eylul +1! darktable is great. are you editing RAW or mostly using for selection and editing elsewhere?
@billynewman @eylul Darktable can certainly do that. Are you running a Linux distribution as an OS? If not, I seem to remember that there's not a windows version (but *maybe* one for osx?) This video opened my eyes to more advanced features (at least to me) --https://youtu.be/no5AkmQ9ZC4
@K_REY_C @billynewman there is somebody who is working on a #darktable windows version, but it is not there yet. (and yes, I use Ubuntu Studio) :) You COULD use the windows bash thing but I assume it would be a bit slow without the GPU acceleration.
@K_REY_C @billynewman I would strongly suggest taking a look at the #darktable user manual https://www.darktable.org/usermanual/index.html.php because it contains information about how some of the modules are useful within a workflow context.
My favorite modules: equalizer, color zones and everything that is noise reduction related (darktable did a better job preprocessing a bunch of milkyway pictures than using dark and bias frames in a recent project: now that's impressive)
@K_REY_C @billynewman I use it as my primary editor for raws/jpegs. I also use it for batch export (resize, watermark) etc where I have shortcuts.
