Anyone familiar with controlling multiple RGB LEDs with a #Raspberry Pi, where the total current probably exceeds what the GPIO can do? Any ideas what kind of extra circuits or controllers I need?
@sciss Could you use a DMX-based dimmer? There are some that will do all the hard work for you. It is more expensive tho. If you just need something quick and dirty, these MOSFET circuits should work: https://learn.adafruit.com/rgb-led-strips/usage
