Making old fashioned gingerbread for the first time, using this recipe:

I may have over baked it a tad. It’s rather dark around the edges, but the middle kept being liquidy when I tested it with a toothpick.
I ended up baking it for 55 minutes total in a glass pan on normal bake (not convection) mode.
Finally eating the gingerbread.
Gave it a lil’ whipped cream chapeau.
My hoodie smells like gingerbread and I’m not mad about it.
@KydiaMusic I like the edges a little dark
@KydiaMusic I might need to try this. But I have cursed luck with cakes, they never seem to rise properly.
