Oh and I guess for context since this isn't a huge sports place, Ayton is the guy set to be the #1 pick in the NBA tomorrow.
There's some problematic takes surrounding the personality of Deandre Ayton just prior to the draft.
I think it's important to remember he's refugee who has only been in the US for five years, during that time, surrounded by chaos and with his basketball career held hostage by the awful process that young basketball prospects go through, he coudl've easily been sent home any time.
It seems reasonable he'd develop some personality quirks along the way, maybe chill out a bit basketball media.

I am very tired and punchy and it's hard to talk about the draft quickly (really, twenty minutes is pretty quick for NBA draft chat). Also THE WORST intro music ever but it was titled "NBA Draft Intro" in my folder so I felt compelled to use it for this episode since I apparently used it last year.

Lots of good basketball this Finals, pretty much up until the second half here.
I am not a Warriors fan but I marvel at what they do.
I feel really bad for the Cavs fans. Watching your team lose in the Finals is the worst.
