I'd forgotten about this #anime esque #doodle I did on Valentines.
Not all roses are red, and not all girls are stick thin.
Roses are black
Violets are purple.
(Edit: my aim here was to not even try to do the 'perfectionism of symmetry', and not to follow the way anime/manga often accentuates certain...features. In short, to draw a normal-ish person not looking for love on Valentines)

@LilithMonkey@mastodon.social@FibroJedi thank you so very much for pointing out how a -body acceptance perspective- includes art/drawings of bodies that actually reflect the variations that actually exist in nature. Thus, a lack of body variation among artists can be construed as contributing (intentionally or unintentionally) to and being engaged in the complicit enabling of the mechanisms that further oppress and marginalize bodies that do not "fit" the sexualized, objectified body model that is valued by the patriarchy.
