Kinda thinking of making my own mod manager for Skyrim and Fallout New Vegas that runs on Linux.

the people who call ubuntu "noobunto" and shit on people for using it are hilarious. it's great to discourage people when they're just beginning to learn how to use linux, or to attack people who've been using ubuntu for years for no other reason than "it's popular". such a great idea haha it's so funny

“I need to change some of my
behavior, and I want to apologize to the people that my personal
behavior hurt and possibly drove away from kernel development
entirely.”

I did not expect to see this kind of introspection from Linus Torvalds lkml.org/lkml/2018/9/16/167

peertube.social/videos/watch/9 I had no idea this game existed when I get internet back on at my place I'll have to check my repositories. Thank you for posting the video it reminds me of Age of Empires which I loved growing up

Switched to Xfce (still Fedora 28) on my desktop and I like it a lot! Xfce does everything I need while beeing quick, simple, light and just as beautiful as KDE. Next step is setting up a nice i3 environment! Xfce rocks!

I got Skyrim running w/ Steam play, I had to set to lowest graphics and low windowed resolution, but it works nearly perfectly. The only hiccups I've had in the beginning were that randomly my character will continue to walk forward until i hit 'w' and I cant 2 hand power attack/dual casting. The endless running seems to have stopped, so that's awesome. I actually got The Witcher (GOG version)
to run as well using PlayOnLinux

@LinuxMan91

Been using Linux for a while but never got to try Mint before now. Really nice distro.

I think I prefer the plasma desktop on Kubuntu and KDE-neon, but really nice having something as stable and neat as this.

Hey hey! #introduction #introductions #french #français #france

I am a little Frenchie called Alexis, and this is my first time on a #mastodon instance! I'm mostly a #gamer, as well as a hobbyist #developer.

Still running on #windows10, due to two #videogames that are impossible to run on #linux based systems, for now.

I'm looking forward to see #proton and #SteamPlay progress even further and let me part of the #linuxgaming community 😀

I also like #anime and drink lots of #coffee.

archive.org/details/softwareli I for some reason got kind of interested in watching old DOS/DOSBOX games on YouTube, when I googled it I got given this link to archive.org

Wow, so this is Mastadon. It looks complex, it'll take a while to get used to.
