I rewatched Blade Runner and that sequel the other day, and it occured to me that the premise of having a Blade Runner, in the sense that he has to determine if a person is a replicant or not, so he doesn't kill a human accidentally, does not work anymore. Nowadays, any cop, or militia person would just shoot the suspect, just to not having to go through all that hussle, and when it hits the wrong one, it is what it is, right?
