Mastalab seems better than Tusky (who's development seems to have stalled) https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=fr.gouv.etalab.mastodon&rdid=fr.gouv.etalab.mastodon
@Purism if the Librem5 development goes well, would a variant with a physical / sliding QWERTY keyboard be possible (Like what the N900 had)? I feel a Linux phone is a bit of a waste without a nice physical keyboard. SSHing my boxes from a soft-keyboard is really frustrating!
Increased character limit is Mastodon's least important feature, albeit a nice perk
Mastodon's primary strength are the decentralization (resilience to failures, government censorship, distributed nature of the moderation and ability to own your own megaphone) and the power dynamic between the product and the users. It is free and open source, and does not seek to exploit the user through ads or surveillance; it is, rather, made by the users for the users.
ask not for whomst the mastodon toots
it toots for thee

Who says "neurotypicals"? Who uses that term. They're called NPCs.
Tooting on a Social network that you don't know anyone on is pretty much pissing into the wind...
@BryanLunduke I want to believe in the Librem 5. It sounds great. However I have two things holding me back on kicking in on the kickstarter. 1, we've been burnt on Linux phones so many times, how will this be different? 2, I've not been able to get into matrix and it seems to be just another network that I have no one I personally want to communicate with, will it have so many other options (will using desktop apps like telegram suck on a 5" screen?).
but yeah I want to believe #foxmulder
I administer a windows network, so at this point every thing I say usually starts with "fuck..."
How do people use Windows on a day to day basis. Every time I go near it at work I start swearing, it'll probably get me fired
