Happy new year, Mastodon!
Jolly Holly, happy whatever, season's greetings, have a wonderful day.
The reason why? I did a basic search for the keyword "gay" and very illegal, very non-gay content popped up. No report facility. I reported it by email but I think the content/blog is still there. Seriously, anyone who transferred to Swarmr needs to think about finding another Tumblr alternative ASAP.
Guess I asked tech questions that couldn't be answered. I suppose I'll just carry on occasionally posting here until the way the app/Mastodon works becomes clearer, but for now I'm just confused/baffled/perplexed and a little bit frustrated.
@Gargron , are you possibly able to help out here, as I think you're an adminny type person?
Seriously though, please explain the Lists feature to me, somebody. And a hint as to how to get the ear/eye/sensory appendage of actual real Mastodon staff would be handy too. (since I don't think @-staff is actually a staff account).

Eyeballing the "Lists" feature in #TuskyApp. I assume that's for organising your feeds/follows. I may be dense, but... How do you use it? Can't see anything like "Add a new list"....
So, it looks like @ staff (space on purpose to avoid linking to them) isn't actually staff. I'm not sure who the legit Mastodon staff type person is that needs calling out at when things on Mastodon are being weird or not working right. Does such an entity exist? #MastodonHelp #Help #TuskyHelp

Hey Mastodon. What does it mean when I can see someone has tooted, say, 25 times, but on their profile I only see maybe 3 toots? Is that because they've replied to/tooted to protected accounts?

I don't often go to view those seemingly very young toots.
Once in a while I look at the locals and I have to admit they are in a foreign language to me. I stick to the Medium app for sharing views with thougful people. Here I share pics of beautiful men mostly. Thanks for being thoughtful.

This is weird, I forgot what my instance was and couldn't log back on forever. Then it said my username and email didn't exist in the system. So I resubmitted, and hey presto, my old account is back! Very confusing...
