In a modern day version of the legend of Excalibur, the right and true successor to Joe Biden will be the person who successfully pulls the sword from out of his back that was placed there by the New York Times.

Stop blaming shadowy figures manipulating things. The voters had doubts about Biden for long before the NYTimes or the Illuminati (or whoever) wrote a word.

@TwShiloh @MissingThePt Voters have doubts about all candidates - yes he is old but the presidency is not about cage fighting and his judgement has never been in question. The NYT basically put the knife in the back ably assisted by the Hollywood arm of the Democrats (as if the election was scripted by Hollywood). It is doubtful that Kamala will do better than Biden -I hope so but it looks like they sacked the Quarterback and brought out a rookie for the Hail Mary pass.

I guess we’ll agree to disagree…I’m not sure “his judgement was never in question” was accurate and this seems like a pretty clear case where the media and ‘Hollywood Democrats’ were way behind voter concerns and it was only where provided with incontrovertible and public evidence that Biden was struggling that they understood how weak his position was.
With Biden our strategy was hoping Trump lost. Now we can have a strategy where we win.

@MissingThePt I'm glad Biden dropped out, but he is a great man. Joe isn't just dropping out because of criticism. I think it is at least partially due to self reflection due TO LEGITIMATE criticism. " bad night" my aunt fanny.
@MissingThePt A real zinger - whatever the NYT covered themselves in over their treatement if Biden - it doesn’t smell very nice. Fawning over Trump and the RNC while doing a hatchet job on Biden. I guess Trump delivers headlines - too bad about the country as long as the NYT is doing alright.
